Always a good experience. The only issue on this visit was the diet coke tasted like dirty water.
The last few times I've been to the theater staff have been helpful and the place has been clean. Only reason I knocked off stars is it seems every time I do go, I end up sitting in or beside a seat that is broken in some way which can end up being pretty uncomfortable if the theater is full and I can't move. I would recommend staff for management taking a look at the seats more often.
This movie theatre plays movies. The popcorn machine makes popcorn. There are some seats you can sit in. Down the hall there are bathrooms with toilets in them. If you don't like those ones there are executive washrooms near the mall entrance (much cleaner than the ones in the bowels of the cinema). A lot of people from Winkler and the surrounding area line up at the concession stand and make awkward small talk and stare at their phones before movies. Only 4 stars because buying your theatre ticket at the concession stand is not as convenient as it sounds. It is multitasking so that sounds great but it's actually quite slow because the staff have to ask everyone who buys popcorn if they want real butter or just topping. I have not worked up the nerve to ask them what the topping product is made from if it's not butter, but eating it I really can't tell the difference. If I find out it gives people cancer I will come back and downgrade to 3 stars.Great experience overall unless you want to go to Video Stop on 1st St. and get 10 movies for 10 days for 10 bucks. That's also a great deal but you can't get the new releases and there's no executive bathroom at Video Stop.If you are over 30 you should wear a youthful disguise at this theatre or else you will feel out of place on most nights. Warehouse One over by 7-11 has up to date fashions.
The theatre is usally kept clean, and popcorn is usually quite fresh. Decent staff for being a demographic that has many teens as a workforce.
Usually it's pretty good but this time not so much popcorn was old and burnt tastings and there debt machine was down hopefully next time its better
