Used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Winkler, haven't been since they changed the menu and the entire atmosphere. Had supper here last week, we came in more than an hour before close and ordered immediately and got attitude from the servers and staff because the entire diner was empty when we arrived. They were blasting their own rap music when we came in and immediately began to mop and prepare for closing which made us super uncomfortable. The music was shut off right away so we were forced to whisper our conversation awkwardly because of the silence. Weren't given refills on any of our drinks, and when my grilled cheese and curly fries came I was incredibly disappointed to see the menu changed as well. My grilled cheese was barely buttered and bone dry, the slices hadn't even been melted properly, I could literally pull them away from each other cleanly. The curly fries were hardly cooked and nothing like the original. Will not be coming here again. Super disappointed.
Love the Cherry Coke but bring a jacket cause it feels like they use the air conditioning to keep the ice cream cold. New owners have made it great again.
Twisters is a unique place - which makes it fun for a visit once in awhile. My food has always been hot and fresh. Service is generally pretty good. I like that there is a wide selection for fries! I love their gravy and that the burgers are made with fresh meat and never frozen - totally homemade!
Really great breakfast special. Extremely good service and coffee top up. Love this place on a morning off!
Fun 50's diner atmosphere. One of the best parts: mini jukeboxes on the table, unfortunately they were all out of order, same with the main large jukebox. My burger was excellent, so were the curly fries and hard ice cream. All the other kinds of fries were bland, and the soft serve was gritty. Service was not great.
