Most people have shared their experiences with the buffet, but not their takeout food. I found the wonton soup to be flavorless, with lumps of noodle, and no flavor in the wonton itself 0/10. the egg rolls tasted like reheated, possibly previously frozen... maybe even purchased from superstore or something 1/10. The "Szechuan style hot & spicy" Lo mein was neither hot, spicy... or even very flavorful 2/10. The Mei Mei special Fried rice was pretty mediocre 3/10. Seriously.. why does this place get such good reviews?
Always great food wouldnt mind a bit of a change up in the buffet. Its my favorite part though
I love Mei Mei's! One of our favorite places to eat. The staff are so friendly, the food is always hot and delicious, they also always try to get you in and seated even when they are very busy. We love supporting your restaurant.
The best chinese for the best price in this area. The buffet is always hot and fresh - and the only place now (as King Ho's closed down) that has lemon chicken the way I like it! The staff is always friendly - and when there was a mixup on our takeout order they had no problem finding a solution (they'd give us what we wanted the next time we ordered out as we didn't want to drive from Morden to Winkler for 1 item - and they stood by it). It's 'nicer' decor compared to other Chinese restaurants. Quaint and simple. My go to place here!
They always have a hot fresh buffet during the week. They actually do lemon chicken the proper way still. So good!
